Project X

This project comprised the construction of a containment level 2 research laboratory facility with extremely high M&E involvement throughout. Eyre Group became involved with the scheme at RIBA stage 3 and developed the design and costing in line with the concept, using pricing from first principles and a sole sourced supply chain procurement method to maintain the confidentiality.

Although the client’s requirements changed significantly during the construction phase, Eyre Group were able to meet the original completion date by reallocating resources and resequencing the works.

This highly serviced facility involved many specialist building services including steam generation, dual fuel boilers, combined heating & power plant and a facility wide back up generator.
