East Anglia’s Childrens’ Hospice – The Nook

Set in five acres of varied woodland this new build facility in central Norfolk supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Norfolk and North Suffolk. The modern facilities within this building include a large hydrotherapy pool, a contemporary sensory room and areas for clinical care and improved medical and nursing equipment.

The Eyre Group were employed to design and install the specialist services associated with such a facility and were proud to be able to rely on our own in-house design team. As well as the usual M&E services associated with such a building the scheme included a standby generator able to provide 24 hours back up running at 100% load, underfloor heating throughout and a special lighting system with the sensory room.
