RAF Honington Swimming Pool

Eyre Group have helped create a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility designed to meet the demands of the 21st century.

The project embraces sustainable technologies and materials, including exposed structural glulam beams with insulated timber cassettes. The facility comprises of a new build two-storey indoor training, rehabilitation and recreational (TRR) hydrotherapy pool with changing rooms and ancillary facilities at RAF Honington in Suffolk. The pool plays an important role, supporting a population of 11,000 as a regional rehabilitation unit (RRU).

Amongst the general services associated with such a facility we also installed specialist swimming pool ventilation system and a swim lane time control system.
